Key Responsibilities

• Operational Management: Directly manage day-to-day operations of the broiler farm to ensure optimal performance, efficiency, and productivity.
• Team Leadership: Supervise and train farm staff, establishing a positive work environment while fostering a culture of accountability and performance excellence.
• Health and Biosecurity: Implement biosecurity protocols and health management practices to ensure flock health and welfare, minimizing disease risks.
• Feeding and Nutrition: Develop and oversee feeding programs that meet the nutritional requirements of the flock and promote growth.
• Data Analysis: Monitor and analyze production data to identify opportunities for improvement and create strategic plans for enhanced output.
• Financial Oversight: Prepare and manage budgets, oversee expenditure, and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• Quality Control: Ensure that all broiler products meet industry specifications and quality standards by maintaining high production standards.
• Reporting: Provide regular reports on flock performance, health assessments, and operational challenges to upper management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, Poultry Science, Agriculture, or related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in poultry management, specifically in broiler production.
• Strong understanding of poultry health, nutrition, and welfare.
• Proficient in data analysis and financial management.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and educate team members.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
