Community Outreach Coordinator Position

Position Summary

As a Community Outreach Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing outreach programs aimed at fostering engagement and participation in community services. You will be responsible for building strong relationships with community members, local organizations, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement outreach programs that meet the needs of the community.
  • Identify and connect with community members and organizations to expand our outreach efforts.
  • Organize community events, workshops, and informational sessions.
  • Collect and analyze data to measure the impact of outreach initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to raise awareness of community resources and support services.
  • Foster partnerships with local businesses and service providers to enhance community support.
  • Provide educational materials and resources to community members.
  • Serve as a liaison between the organization and the community.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Community Development, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in community outreach, engagement, or a similar role.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse populations.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as a team player.
  • Knowledge of community resources and services available in the area.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with outreach software or CRM systems.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle for local travel.
