Job Overview

As a part-time EAP Specialist, you will be responsible for providing confidential counseling and support services to employees and their families. You will work in a collaborative environment with other specialists, and your role will include providing guidance on personal issues, workplace stress, and related concerns.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct confidential counseling sessions via phone, video, and in-person.
Assess employees’ needs and develop individualized support plans.
Offer referrals and resources for additional support services.
Provide crisis intervention for employees in urgent situations.
Facilitate workshops and training sessions on mental health and wellness topics.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of sessions and referrals.
Collaborate with employers to promote EAP services and create wellbeing initiatives.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
Licensed or certified in your field of specialization (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, etc.).
Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in counseling or related services.
Strong understanding of workplace issues and employees’ needs.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise good judgment.
Flexibility in scheduling and a commitment to part-time hours.
