Available Positions
Optum is hiring for multiple positions within our hospice care teams. Some of the key roles include:
Registered Nurse (RN)
- Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care, develop care plans, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver personalized care.
- Requirements: Active RN license, hospitable nature, and strong communication skills.
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- Responsibilities: Assist RNs in delivering patient care, monitor vital signs, and maintain patient records.
- Requirements: Current LPN license and a desire to work with patients in hospice settings.
Social Worker
- Responsibilities: Provide counseling and support to patients and families, initiate care planning, and connect families with resources.
- Requirements: Master’s degree in Social Work, LCSW preferred, and compassionate demeanor.
Chaplain
- Responsibilities: Offer spiritual care to patients and families, facilitate end-of-life discussions, and provide emotional support as needed.
- Requirements: Ordained clergy or equivalent, with experience in a healthcare setting.
