Job Description

We are looking for a talented and self-motivated Power BI Analyst to join our remote team. In this position, you will be responsible for developing and managing dashboards, reports, and analytics tools that provide actionable insights to our stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders to translate them into effective data visualization solutions.
• Create, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards and reports that facilitate data-driven decision-making.
• Develop data models and optimize ETL processes to ensure the delivery of quality data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for leveraging data and analytics.
• Conduct routine data quality checks and validations to ensure accuracy and reliability of analytics.
• Provide ongoing support and training to end-users, helping them understand and derive insights from Power BI reports.
• Stay updated with the latest Power BI features and best practices, incorporating them into your work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Power BI Analyst or similar role, with a demonstrated ability in building reports and dashboards.
• Strong proficiency in Power BI, as well as experience with DAX and Power Query.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing and data modeling concepts.
• Familiarity with SQL and experience in data extraction from relational databases.
• Ability to communicate complex data insights in a clear and effective manner.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in integrating Power BI with other analytical tools.
• Knowledge of other data visualization tools such as Tableau or QlikView.
• Familiarity with cloud services like Azure or AWS.
• Experience in industry-specific analytics, such as finance, marketing, or operations.
