Position Overview

As a Retail Associate, you will be the face of our store, engaging with customers and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience. You will be responsible for assisting shoppers with inquiries, handling transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service and assistance to all customers.
• Maintain store inventory by restocking shelves and organizing product displays.
• Operate cash registers and handle financial transactions accurately.
• Ensure the store is clean, organized, and safe for both staff and customers.
• Assist in inventory management, including stock counts and ordering supplies.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and ensure seamless operations.
• Stay informed about promotions, sales, and store policies to best assist customers.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues in a professional manner.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; further education in retail or business is a plus.
• Previous experience in retail or customer service preferred but not required.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to interact effectively with customers and team members.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and handle various responsibilities.
• Basic mathematical skills for handling transactions and cash management.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (up to 50 lbs).
