Position Overview

The Senior Customer Service Representative is a critical role within our organization. This individual will be responsible for leading our customer service initiatives, ensuring customer inquiries are handled efficiently, and proactively identifying opportunities for service improvement. The Sr CSR will also mentor junior staff and demonstrate a commitment to customer-centric solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and resolve complex customer inquiries, complaints, and issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Supervise daily operations of the customer service team, providing leadership and guidance to ensure high levels of service are maintained.
  • Track performance metrics and prepare reports on team performance, identifying trends and actionable insights.
  • Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for new team members to ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the customer journey and streamline communication processes.
  • Implement strategies for customer retention and loyalty programs.
  • Stay updated on product knowledge and changes within the industry to provide informed responses to customer inquiries.
  • Act as a point of escalation for all customer inquiries and concerns, resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Foster a customer-centric culture within the team, encouraging team members to adopt best practices in customer service.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in customer service, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record of leadership and team development.
  • Ability to analyze customer service data and draw actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in customer service software and applications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • High school diploma is required; a bachelor’s degree in business or related field is preferred.
