Job Responsibilities

As a trailer driver, you will be responsible for:

• Safely operating a trailer truck and delivering goods to various destinations.
• Conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and trailer.
• Adhering to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road.
• Maintaining accurate records of deliveries and dispatches.
• Communicating effectively with dispatchers and other team members.
• Ensuring the cargo is secured and protected during transport.
• Assisting in loading and unloading cargo as needed.
• Reporting any vehicle malfunctions or accidents to management immediately.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this trailer driver job vacancy will possess:

• A valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience driving a trailer truck.
• Knowledge of federal and state transportation regulations.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
